White-Box Technical Specifications

The White-Box range of e-commerce solution has been developed as a modular system, so you can start off with any type of system and add in additional modules as your requirements grow. Designed to run on any windows based server, the system uses ASP (Active Server Pages) and Acess 2000 databases.

The core system is the STORE which handles the shopping cart mechanism from the products database and storing the customer orders.

The PRO system adds in the order processing and affiliate tracking system. Orders can be moved through various stages of processing. From NEW orders coming in to the system, through to DESPATCH and DELIVERED. The affiliate tracking allows affiliates to sign-up to your store and tracks any orders and commissions due to affiliates passing customers to your site.

The DELUXE system adds in full online stock control management features which includes limiting the stock on sale to that held in the warehouse, and produces reports on stock that needs to be re-ordered. These can then generare purchase orders from your suppliers, which re-stocks your system when goods are received and marked off agains the purchase orders.

Additional Modules can be added into the system with plug-in modules.
